SigmaPAC controller

Programmable automation controller according to IEC 61131-3 with CANopen interface and open to other systems.

SigmaPAC control unit is an intelligent CANopen master unit suited for Sigmadue I/O modules and any CANopen slave device.

This device is especially designed for distributed automation systems for process and machine control.

For programming and debugging the SigmaPAC control unit is accessible via Ethernet port or serial EIA-232 (RS-232) port.

OpenPCS (see infoteam GmbH) is used for programming the unit. All the five standard languages (IL, LD, CFC, ST, SFC) defined by IEC 61131-3 are available. Online debugging and offline simulation tools assist the programmer during the development phase.

In addition, Ascon provides a specific library of advanced function blocks, including PID programmers, process function blocks.
